These are the shorts you want to wear in a heat wave! Our Palma Shorts are sewn from our exquisitely airy, lightweight, organic cotton broadcloth. They are dreamy and durable — everything we desire on sultry summer days.

Pair with the Bateau Tee for a comfortable yet pulled together outfit or style with a crop top to show off the pleated waist.

The pockets are nearly invisible to the eye, but there are two spacious pockets tucked into the side seam of our Palmas. Easily tuck a phone, wallet or even a snack under the billows.

Also available in a long pant version.

INGREDIENTS: Organic cotton broadcloth, organic cotton undyed thread, elastic waistband, plastic-free cotton tag; if stone, sustainably wild-harvested white gall nuts (quercus infectoria) from this small family business in Anatolia, Turkey

PROCESS: Grown in Peru, woven in Japan, sewn at a fair-pay, woman-owned factory in Los Angeles, California

SIZING: See our sizing guide to choose your best fit. If you've got any of our other bottoms, these should fit the same so choose the same size.

CARE: To get the most life out of your garment and do what is best for the earth, machine wash cold & line dry. Because the only option to pre-shrink our fabric was a toxic chemical wash, we intentionally designed our undyed clothes to shrink a bit the first wash. Full details here. And don't worry - these are durable clothes that are easy to care for! Naturally dyed clothes are pre-shrunk.

If you order a naturally dyed piece, it may initially hold the beautiful scent of the plant that was used to dye it. It will also be a tad stiffer than an undyed garment. Both of these features will mellow after the first wash. The color fades very little, but over time, some shift in color is to be expected and part of what makes naturally dyed pieces so special. Learn more with our Natural Dye FAQ.
