Organic Cotton Thread in Black

Since we naturally garment dye our clothing, we only use thread that matches our raw fabric, usually this white or this shade of tan, but we always sew with thread from this company because they are making the highest quality organic GOTS certified thread on the market. It is smooth and strong — great for seams, overlock, top stitching and embroidery. It will not shrink or bleed with washing.

This is the thread we recommend for mending and general home sewing projects. It is composed of 100% organic cotton. With a cotton count of 29/2, it's a medium weight thread with a tex size of 35. Each spool is 300 yards.
