These sturdy, earthy capris are the perfect pants to dip your toes back into the world of hard pants. The deadstock fabric these capris are sewn from is what remained after we sewer our classic Wander Hat. It is a gorgeous, indigo-dyed colorganic® woven in Japan we were lucky enough to receive.
Our Wander Hat is sewn from the same fabric, so the two make a great set.
This is a beautiful, special raw denim. If you love that and plan not to wash, you'll want to size down one. If you plan to wash your pants, order your true size. It will feel stiff and fit too big until the first time it's washed. After the first wash, it will fit as intended and soften up.
INGREDIENTS: Deadstock Indigo Denim woven In Japan (composed of, to the best of our knowledge as it is deadstock, colorganic® sepia cotton warp, organic USA-grown white cotton warp dyed with natural & low-impact indigo), corozo buttons, GOTS-certified organic cotton thread in navy, GOTS-certified organic cotton thread in off-white
JOURNEY: Organically grown in the USA, spun, woven and dyed in Japan and fairly sewn at a woman-owned factory in San Francisco, California
NOTE FROM SARAH: These pants are a super special limited edition run sewn from the very end of the roll, so we weren't even able to make as many as I intended to because we ran out of fabric while cutting.
SIZING: Fits true to size. See our size guide to choose your best fit.
CARE: To get the most life out of your garment and do what is best for the earth, machine wash cold & line dry. Because the only option to pre-shrink our fabric was a toxic chemical wash, we intentionally designed our clothes to shrink a bit the first wash. Full details here. And don't worry - these are durable clothes that are easy to care for. You can also return items after washing & wearing, so no worries!
Sarah wears a size four and has a waist measurement of 31" and hips 40".
